"This is a long story, so grab a coffee and be prepared to spend a few minutes reading.
In early August I left Ontario on a ten day motorcycling vacation with three of my close friends. Somewhere out in the middle of farm country between Dunn and Newton Grove my bike started making a horrible, grinding, gnashing sound. I immediately pulled over and called CAA for a tow truck. Just as I was finishing the call, some very kind people from up the road came to our rescue.
Before I knew it I had cancelled the CAA tow truck, my bike was loaded up on a trailer hitched to a pickup, and my new friends John & Dave (total strangers before this) were driving me all the way to Goldsboro, with the three other girls following behind on their bikes. I can't tell you how overwhelmed we were by the kindness of these folks, they spent most of their day helping us out of what could have been a very bad situation.
Anyway, on we went to Fun Products, and I found out there that John's wife had called ahead to let them know we were coming (how wonderful of her!)
I talked to Bill in service, they knew we were on vacation from Canada, and they took my bike right in. I treated John and Dave (our rescuers) to a nice lunch, and by the time we got back to Fun Products, they had the bike torn down, diagnosed the problem and had the parts on order. It turned out to be pretty bad, the drive shaft was chewing up the teeth inside the coupler and both had to be replaced.
John and Dave went even further beyond the call of duty, and drove me and all my gear to a local hotel, where we stayed the night while waiting for the parts to come in to Fun Products.
Due to timing of the order, we weren't sure if the parts would make it on the overnight shipment, until we got the call from Mike the next morning. Turns out they had come in, so they were able to get my bike back together and get us back on the road that day.
I can't say enough about how kind and helpful everyone we dealt with was, the folks at Fun Products treated us like friends. Bill did a fantastic job of dealing with a pack of hysterical females :), and gave us some great recommendations on places to eat and hang out while waiting for the bike to be repaired.
My bike is a 2006 Suzuki Boulevard, and I've only ever taken it to Suzi dealers for service and repair, and I've been to a few of them here in Canada. All of them here could take a lesson in exemplary customer service from the people at Fun Products, including everyone from the Service Manager, the Mechanics, the parts ordering guy and the sales desk.
Everyone we dealt with was fantastic, and I would highly recommend Fun Products for service to anyone who will stand still long enough to listen.
They turned what could have been a nasty end to our vacation in to a great experience, thanks so much for all of your help and kindness!!

"I have known Fun-products ever since I landed in Goldsboro, almost 24 years ago. I have seen a lot of faces come and go at Fun Products. I think Steve in parts is a super guy, knows the equipment and knows whether he has it in stock or has to order what you need. Fun Products has always been my source of motorcycle parts and service. I plan in the future to buy another motorcycle from them as soon as I sell the one I have now. Dan and all you folks at Fun Products keep up the good work!
